iTAMS IVR Server Technical Overview

For the technically inclined, a brief overview of the iTAMS Server software.

 

The iTAMS Server application suite uses standards based ISDN controllers to provide a digital telephone interface to the host IVR Server.

iTAMS can use most server class ISDN cards supported by Windows with a full CAPI2.0 implementation.

The ISDN cards require Onboard Hardware DTMF processing (as is common on this type of card) - although this does not require the very costly 'high-end' cards capable of speech recognition and such like.

We specify our servers and test our applications with Eicon (Now Dialogic) PRI-CTI and V-Series ISDN Server Cards

A typical server can process between 60 and 120 simultaneous calls, depending on the server specification and IVR application in use.

Any number of different call flows can be in use at any one time.  With multiple DDI numbers, each number can provide a different IVR application.

Identical IVR systems can be replicated for different clients and/or languages on the same server with minimal effort.
